Biography

Yanira has a BBA major in Management and a MBA major in Human Resources from Universidad del Sagrado Corazón.  

Her professional career start in 1996 as Human Resource Consultant.   She helped identify, attract and recruit middle and Top Executives for the Pharmaceutical, Bank and Retail Industry.  In 1999 she was nominee “Who's Who of Professional and Business Women” 7^th edition.

In 1999 she join MassMutual Puerto Rico where she worked as a Recruiter and General Agent Assistant, from  2001-2003 she recruit over 20 new agents and was  recognized as a Top Recruiter by MassMutual Financial Group. In 2003 was appointed Business Manager.

In 2005 she decide to become a Financial Advisor in 2006 she start as Managing Associate and in 2009.    In 2010 was appointed Training and Recruiting Director where she contribute to the agency growth and achievement of The Chairman Trophy for the first time and The Best Year Ever in 2012. The Puerto Rico Agency have been recognized with top honors for the development of new agents since 2010.

In 2012 was recognized by The Caribbean Business as “2012 Women Who Lead” and won The International Management Award, bronze  level by GAMA International 2013 and the Frontline Leader Award in 2014 and 2015.     In 2013 wrote an article for El Nuevo Dia and was invited to Universidad del Sagrado Corazón to introduce the opportunity of becoming a Financial Service Representative.

In 2015 one of her agents was choose over 2000 nationwide new agents as Freshman Five, the highest honor for new agents.

Yanira is an active member of the Chamber of Commerce, SME, SHRM and GAMA International.
